My name is Aidan Menteer and I started working with dogs in 2021, while I was still studying for my bachelors in Biology. At the time, I was just taking a job to pay the rent while I completed the final semesters of college before starting a career. Doing what? I still didn’t know. I just knew I wanted to work with animals. I continued working with dogs after college and for the last year, I have been working with trained boarder collies as a goose cowboy. The collie I work with, Zoe, is very restrained, but I have found that she has an enormous amount of potential energy. I try hard to find outlets for her everyday, and the carpetmill I built with my brother is the latest of those outlets.

I have been around dogs my whole life, but the last three years working with them specifically, I have learned many lessons. The most important of these messages being, that; in-order to train a dog, you have to also train the owner. it is my opinion that every dog just wants to understand the world around them. Just like you. If you are willing to meet them where they are at, they will do the same for you. I can teach you to understand your dogs body language and behavior enough to build a healthy relationship that will result in better obedience and respect.
